As Promised!

I have some new stuff to showcase this week. I was hard at work all day Friday and

today working on getting this finished up. So, with no further ado! I give you:

The new version of the Mini Tote! Slightly larger that before, with longer purse style handles!

(Short handles are also still available by request.)

This is great fabric, by my favorite Designer: Michael Miller. This line of fabric has become my current favorite!

Update

There have been some hiccups in Jae Jay's world this week. Foremost being NO PHONE LINE! for three days, which also meant no Internet access either! It was tough to convince the phone company that I did actually want them to come out and fix the problem, but things are fixed now and hopefully they stay that way. In the way of news, there is a new look to the Jae Jay shop, so head on over and take a peek. I don't have any new stuff to show you today, but there is some new things in the works that should be up early next week, both here and listed in the shop.

Twirly

I had a plan to make these skirts, and call them twirly skirts. Nearly every time Ems gets a new dress it has to pass the "twirl test". No dress can be put away unless it has passed this test. It was the vision of Ems and her 3 cousins twirling around the Christmas Tree last December that gave me the idea. After finishing this first one, Ems was excited to model it for me, but a small slip of the tongue and the skirts have been renamed "Whirly Skirts". Great name Ems!

Simplify

I really enjoyed making the skirts featured in the previous couple of posts. They do take quite a bit of work though. I decided upon a simpler version of that skirt, one that has all the elements but is sewn up much quicker. Once again, my Fabulous Ems patiently sat through a photo shoot, so I could get just the right shot. What a girl!
