Today's The Day!

Today is day I set as the day to be ready to open my Etsy shop, and I DID IT! There is now over 30 items listed there, all made, all ready to ship! I feel so excited to have gotten this organized! I just want to shout YAY! ME! I have 4 more items ready made to list, I just need to coral Ems to get her to model them for me. That is tomorrows goal! For now, I am very pleased.

Ruffles!

I made a skirt a while ago out of an old jean skirt of mine. I really liked the pattern and wanted to try it with this Michael Miller fabric I had come across, and just fallen in love with. The fabric came in 2 colour schemes, and I chose to work with the pink on first. It is a quick skirt that works up really quickly. The photos below are a few that I took, with My daughter (Ems) as the model. The first photo is the one that became the photo for my Facebook group (you can join HERE).

Diaper Duo & Reversable Bib

So what goes well with Dolly Diapers? After using some of my scraps to make the diaper duos, I made a pattern to make some bibs to coordinate. I used the print on the outside of each diaper to make a reversible bib to match to a diaper duo. Overall I am pleased with my work, but I do feel I need to tweak the bib pattern just a bit. Diaper Duo

I love flannel. Love it! I have made baby blakets, and pj's and even backed quilts with it. My flannel sheets are my favorite, and I use them from October - May. I had piles of scraps of flannel, because one thing you will learn quickly is that I am a fabric nut! I keep any scrap bigger than 3x3 inches. All this scrap material was taking up space, and really what do you do with small pieces of flannel? Well, I made some doll sized diapers for my daughter adn it dawned on me! What a great use for all those extra pieces. With that idea began my JaeJay Shop. I made my own pattern, which I really enjoy doing, and here are the first batch of
